BEACH YOGA IN NOOSA
Practicing beach yoga in Noosa is a beautiful way to begin ANY day. Locals and tourists have been allowing themselves this joy since 2012 when Noosa Beach Yoga first started. Led by Claudia, an experienced yoga practitioner, who will guide you to find your bliss in your yoga experience.
Beach yoga is a highly restorative practice. Practicing yoga by the beach allows each student to fully relax into the class. Noosa has such a temperate climate that it is possible to have beach yoga all year round.
Noosa Beach Yoga
Noosa is a tropical paradise, surrounded by the Noosa National Park with magical fairy pools, an amazing family friendly beach, delicious restaurants and great surf breaks! Take a yoga class with Noosa Beach Yoga and connect with yourself and with nature.
There is a different energy that builds when practicing close to the beach. The soundtrack of your practice is the sound of the ocean, birds singing and the whisper of the trees.
Beginning your yoga practice with a class close to the ocean allows you to ease into your day feeling relaxed, calm and energised. Having that deep sense of peace that yoga brings gives you more energy to face all the ‘challenges and obstacles’ we face everyday.
Beach Yoga is for every level!
If you are a beginner, beach yoga is a perfect place to start your practice. Free from the constraints of the studio, beach yoga takes away any feelings of apprehension or nervousness. It is a completely relaxed environment. Simple allow yourself to relax and melt onto your mat taking in the natural surrounds. An outside practice allows us to embrace all that surrounds us and be more engaged with the world.
For more experienced yogis, it is a perfect way to find a deeper connection to yourself and this incredible place. Enjoy melting deeper into an asana without pushing to get there. Allow yourself to connect to your outdoor practice, the space around you and into your body.
Sometimes a bush turkey will come and practice with us! They are colourful and funny birds and will happily rummage through any bag that has been left unattended! You will find the males building huge nests for the females to lay their eggs in. As soon as the eggs are laid the female is off, and the male sticks around to defend the nest. After about 50 days the little hatchlings climb their way up and out of the mound of compost and fend for themselves straight away. Be kind to these Noosa Locals!
