What to Expect in a Yoga Therapy Session
In our first session, Florence will discuss your unique needs and design an initial daily practice plan. Your plan will likely include asana (yoga postures), pranayama (breathing techniques), and meditation. Ayurveda may also be incorporated, depending on your needs. Yoga therapy integrates smoothly with other treatment modalities and can complement your existing health practices.
At-home practices are a key part of yoga therapy, designed to empower you with self-care skills. Yoga therapy respects where each person is on their journey. No health concern is too large or small. Each session is client-led, client-centered, and compassion-focused, with the client as the master of their healing journey, guided by a knowledgeable and supportive yoga therapist.

Florence has spent the past few years working in various modalities of yoga. After becoming a certified teacher, she was continually amazed by the healing power of this beautiful practice. Inspired by these experiences, Florence chose to deepen her knowledge and specialize further, focusing on providing personalized yoga practices tailored to diverse needs.
She completed certifications in "Biomedical Yoga Therapy for Pain Relief" and "Biomedical Yoga Therapy for Gut-Brain Health" through BIYOME, a renowned institute in Brisbane. There, she learned to apply ancient yogic wisdom to address specific health conditions, empowering individuals on their wellness journeys. Florence is passionate about guiding others with these therapeutic practices and firmly believes they have the potential to make a profound difference in people’s lives.
